First off, I love this tape. I've been using it for everything. I've secured pictures to walls, mutliple power strips to their homes (ie, inside cabinet of entertainment center, underside of my desk, etc), the feet of my TV to help keep it from being wobbled by cats, attaching a dry erase board to the freezer door-- I honestly can't even think of everything I've used it for because it's all over the house at this point. It's amazing and I love it and I will buy it again.That said, I've tried multiple times to wash and reuse... no such luck. Following all the instructions, and even a few troubleshooting ideas of my own, I've never been able to get it strong enough to use again. It tries to break when removed (but does remove easily; just the stretch will sometimes make it pop if you're not careful) and loses its shape. Because it's so adhesive, it gathers every little thing it touches, which is hard to wash off again. Overall, the few times I've removed it, it's had to be thrown out. I'm sad about that because that was my primary reason for purchase, but I love it regardless.Oh! And just another note that I liked: the very slight thickness of it made adhering some things considerably easier. Flat double-sided tape requires everything to be perfectly smooth, but that's just not the case with a lot of stuff. Being able to press into it slightly for some things is a big reason I think more things stick than don't, so keep that in mind!love the tape, this is my second purchase.Some sort of sensor stuck to my windshield recently fell off during a heatwave. I saw it was stuck on with a clear gel tape and ran to the auto parts store to get some. Surprise… they didn’t have it. Nor did any other parts store I stopped at. So I looked online and it took a while but I finally found this. It looked the same so I figured I’d try it and I’m happy to say it worked perfectly. ?This is a little thinner than what I'm used to getting, but so far it has held up the same.it is easy to use it.and good quality...Update to January 2021 review.I have updated my original one star, to 3 stars. As long as you are not attaching non flexible items to painted or varnished surfaces, especially porous surfaces, this tape will work in "most" cases.Ridged items, that do not allow you to access the tape to: flex/stretch/peel the tape to remove it, as it will take a good amount of said paint with it.Not ideal for hot or humid environments, where weighted items are expected to remain in place. I found that a hair dryer helped in many instances in getting the tape to relax its hold, but you still need to be patient and take care not to rush, if you don't want to end up painting.I attached a reading light to a wooden headboard, the tape held well. Did use the hair dryer method to release the tape from the light, and then was able to peel the tape off from the headboard, leaving the varnish intact.Used this tape on a shampoo caddy, worked well for 3 weeks. Even after making sure the shower wall was clean and oil/soap scum free. Will have assume that the heat, humidity and product reaching the tape, as on week three, there was a crash in the middle of the afternoon, the tape had released from the wall at the 12 contact points.This works OK on bare brick, depending on how clean the brick is, and what is being attached to the brick using the tape. Poster seem to hold the best, as long as you can peel the poster and tape together, to remove it from the brick. DO NOT hang any signed, framed posters, pictures or special to you art work, that you do NOT want ruined or DAMAGED, should the tape fail at some random TIME after attaching to the wall, and certainly not, if other items that you care about can be damaged should the taped item fall.I personally found the best use for this tape, was to keep things from being easily moved on a flat surface, like a desk, shelf, floor. A friend son, uses the tape I gave him, to allow his action and wrestling figures to stand on an open bookcase shelving and wall shelves, when the bookcase/shelves get jostled or the bedroom door slams or the fans get turned on high. No more domino action figures.*** original January 2021 review ****This product works well as far as hold. In fact it holds so well, that you do not want to put this on a painted wall, unless you have plans to paint said wall after removing the tape. It is easy to remove, but will take most if not all of the paint it has adhered to. That is the reason for the one star.If you want to put something like this on painted walls, furniture, I would suggest a Command Strip type product, made to adhere and be removed from painted surfaces.I purchased this tape in December 2020. I used the tape to attach pretty puzzles, pictures, and do-dad‘s to my walls. Since it says that it is removable, I trusted those words. In July 2022 I decided to take all of my things off of the walls to pack them up for a move. The tape cannot be removed from very many surfaces. Nothing on wallpaper, nothing on painted surfaces, nothing on paneling with just a regular finish can it be removed from without some damage, from minor to major. The tape is amazing, as it holds almost anything from light to heavy to whatever surface you want it to hold onto. Just keep in mind, you cannot easily remove anything from many surfaces that you put it on.Would definitely buy this again, it’s great on most surfaces. Great quantity and quality for the priceI used this tape to hang photo frames, not heavy at all, one frame was of a professional photo shoot of my son at 6 weeks old, I had lots of tape all around the frame because I was paranoid of it breaking, well it fell off the wall & smashed!!! A day later, the photo of my daughter at 6 weeks old has also just fallen off the wall, luckily not smashed though!!! But I won’t be using this tape for anything breakable!!!I decided to put up my wedding photos on the stairway wall. This tape made it the task a pleasure, rather than a chore. The spacing was so much easier to do; the end result looks perfect.I am very happy.I was initially very pleased with this. Stuck up pictures (none of them heavy), and everything was ok. However 5 weeks or so down the line, they are all starting to fall off the walls. The heaviest one was first (which isn't heavy at all) falling off the wall in the middle of the night. Other small frames have followed suit. Considering the promo stuff says it can hold the weight of a brick or 2, my little photo frames should not have been a problem. I guess it doesn't guarantee how long it will hold things for.Definitely not worth the hype. I bought his thinking it was going to hold so many thing but the only thing that holds is paper. I put it up against the wall of my bathroom and it didn’t hold my shampoos. I thought it might be because of the humidity but then I gave it a second chance, and stuck a Clock on the wall and I left it thinking it was actually working on dryer surfaces, and then when I woke up the next day, I found the clock on the floor. Luckily it landed on soft surfaces rather than then floor as it would have broken the clock.Definitely not worth it!!Don’t waste your money!This wasn't a great success for me. Bought it to stick a clock on the wall. Clock keep falling off. Had to get new clock. Clock was quite light. When tried to get it off the wall it was stuck solid, still there. Wouldn't buy again.
