I ordered 2 packs and I didn't do the sandwich method, I did single tape ins because I didn't want it to look bulky. I did have to order a 3rd pack, I'll probably only use 5 tapes from the next pack to close up the top middle. So placement is very important if you only get 2 packs. My daughter hair is this texture when wet so we only wanted length and a little volume. Texture matched perfectly...color however did not match her natural black hair.. so I dyed the hair with dark brown and bam! I tried to avoid wetting the tape as much as possible during the dying process and I blow dried the area when I was finished to preserve the stickiness of the adhesive. It took some work but it came out perfect. She only wanted a pony tail so I didn't have to work to hard with styling. The 18" does not look true to length...more like a 16"! But I wasn't tripping, the hair has a natural feathered look from root to ends, so the ends are not thin and stringy or to thick! I am worried about applying heat to it, it looks like it would melt. I will definitely do a strand test before I take heat to it and risk burning it. Even when I blow dried it, I did low heat and cool air drying. When the 3rd pack comes, I will add pictures to that review so you can see, nobody can tell it's not my daughter's natural hair with the ponytail....no I'm not even kidding.I’m very pleased with the quality of these extensions. They were easy to install and I’m currently at week three and have yet to experience any tangling or shedding. The Light Yaki texture is perfect for flat ironed natural hair (3A - 4A) or relaxed hair. As others have stated, the only complaint that I have, is that the stickiness of the tape could be stronger. I workout at the gym and a few tapes did start to slide out when my scalp sweated. Overall, this was a great buy and I have received so many compliments.Sooo I ordered a 16.18.20 inch I Got two 16inches like wtf is my 18 I don’t like that. I woulda been okay with two 18 and one 20 inch Hopefully it don’t look to different in length and it looks good y’all coulda communicated . But after Installing my hair it came out pretty good all My friends were impressed and pleased with the outcome it looked really natural and it was soft. I didn’t get home straight but due to It being kinky curly it makes sense it got Wet and immediately curled back up To it’s natural pattern and it looked really good I used all 3 bundles of 20 tape ins next time I’ll go for 4 bundles for more Fullness. I will def order again and hope my order is correct next time but I wasn’t disappointed in the hair it self so I’ll recommend to buy I haven’t dyed it to see if it will but I don’t doubt that it wont. also they did message me apologizing for the mix up and agreed to fix the problemI love how my hair turned out. The yaky matches my texture perfectly with my hair straightened. My only complaint is that the tape doesn’t seem strong enough. However, I’ve made it a week without changing the tape.Love the hair the seller was amazing they helped me with the problem that I had the hair matches my hair perfectly it was so easy to useLoved this hair. Very good hair. Texture is similar to relaxed hair. Holds curls doesn’t tangle or shed. Will buy over and over again?I love the hair was able to straighten it but the only issue I had wasn’t not getting the right curl pattern that matched my curl pattern because of there not being accurate pictures of the curl pattern.So, i wanted to start wearing tape-in, but didnt want to spend hundreds of dollars. So i searched amazon and found these. So for my first thought of the hair was, they were a bit more course than i had hoped. But i washed and deep conditioned them. And i will be posting more updates
