This was my first foray into extentions. I bought 2 packets and was thrilled when I pulled the long pieces out of the packet. The color (light brown and bleach blond) matched my pre-existing highlights perfectly, and the hair was smooth and silky. My hair stylist put them in for me, and I looked gorgeous when I left the salon!All was well until 3 days later when I washed it for the first time and ended up with a bushy blond squirrel mullet. My natural hair is shoulder-length and very straight; the bushy mullet was quite obvious from the shoulders down. This hair was impossible to style. I used expensive shampoo/conditioner, leave in conditioner, smoothing oil, a straightening iron, a curling iron, a curling wand...I tried everything. Nothing worked to tame the frizzy beast and recreate the beautiful coiffure of the first day. On a good note, the adhesive worked very well, but each tape piece is quite sizeable, and I was continuously aware of each piece in my hair. I wasn't able to easily pull my new long hair into a pony tail because the tapes became so obvious.To summarize, I think this is a fantastic option for a special occasion. If you get it done the day of the event (or the day before), you will have long, sexy, silky hair! However, unless you live with a professional hair stylist, expect to spend a LOT of time trying to tame the frizzy squirrel mullet. Also, for regular use, you probably don't need 2 packets. It gets very heavy and hot in the summer (and of course the humidity makes the bush even bigger...). Hope this helps.I ordered the 14inch, 2 packs 80g each so a total of 160g. My hair is collar bone length.. I work at a salon so my stylist applied them. I washed them the night before application in purple shampoo and after shampooing the ends of the extensions became frayed. She had to cut about an inch and a half off for them to look thick. That’s my only complaint so far.. other then that they match perfect and look great. I will update the review once I see how long they last. So far, definitely worth the price.UPDATE- after 3 and a half weeks the extensions because dry, frizzy and felt like horse hair.. like the hair wasn’t even real human hair. To top that off, it LITERALLY ripped out 2 extensions from my scalp bc the glue is terrible. Don’t waste your money.. I could have used the money I spent on these to get 1 pack of hot head hair extensions. You’re better off buying quality hair that will last 9 monthsI purchased these extensions because the color looked like a good match. I was correct! When they arrived they were in decent packaging and easy to apply. My hair assistant used two pieces and sandwiched them on top of each other so I had to buy a few packs to make this work. They looked amazing for the first 2 weeks and then...they didn't. I am not someone that washes my hair frequently (2x per week). I felt like I took good care of them by brushing them gently and using nonsulfate shampoo and conditioner. By week 3 they where well worn and felt like barbie doll hair. I would recommend this product if you are looking to add fullness and length for a special occasion or a vacation. Just don't plan to keep them in for very long.So the hair it’s self is nice. It took the dye well it styles lovely. I went for the gravest grams. Still very very thin at the bottom of the hair so I cut it :( the tape that comes with this is absolutely trash. I installed the hair and the tape just doesn’t hold more than 24 hours.Really love these beautiful extensions.Great item for a great priceI want to start out by saying that for the money these are actually pretty decent. I have been buying the satin strands tape in extensions for about 8 years and for some reason they are only available in one color now. Luckily this particular brand comes in many different colors and I was able to find one that is almost an exact match. I have had mine in for about a month now and for the first week or two they were great. Now the ends are starting to get pretty frizzy and they tend to also get matted very quickly but the adhesive has still remained strong and I have only had 1 out of 10 fall out. Fortunately for me I was able to get about 2 full sets out of this pack as my hair is so thin. Unfortunately I don't think I will be to get another round out of the set I currently have in. All and all though for the price they are not awful as long as you know how to take care of them.The color is beautiful. The tape holds as long as you do not use conditioner at all. The first time I purchased this hair it was great and it lasted a long time. I only used conditioner on my ends and the tape did not slip or come out. This time I had 4 pieces come out after ny first wash so the tapes were not as good. After only 4 weeks it gets matted and tangled just by resting around my neck and shoulders. Its a little dry and I use moisturizing products in my hair. I am unable to reuse this hair after 6 weeks. Human hair should last longer.
