The longer time applied the stronger the tape will be molding into surfaces of objects.

To be clear .... this shouldn't (necessarily) be used as mounting tape. For some smaller items, sure. I used this for some fender flares and it works so extraordinarily well for what I was wanting.I was fastening a rubber Matt to a plastic dog ramp so my dog could have extra traction when getting in the vehicle. At first everything appeared to be fastened but when I put the ramp in the car for a trip everything came apart. If your surfaces are super smooth it may work but textured surfaces are a no go.Tape doesn't have any stick to it at all, and that's if you get lucky enough to get the plastic backing off the stuff. Very poor manufacturing and the majority of the stuff ended up useless before I was able to get any of the backing off to get a chance to try it. It is ripping the spongey stuff right off and then I have a tear or a hole in the tape. I have to think that it is a big terrible mistake by the manufacturerDoes not work. Good for only a little while. If you live in a humid area, the moisture causes the adhesive not to adhere to the item. My item wasn’t even heavy. Don’t recommend. Save your money.This tape did the job!There's broken glass all over my floor from the mirror panels that came crashing down onto my hardwood floor after using this. A lot of $$$ down the drain.Used to tape a large Christmas decoration to my garage door because they described their product as “will not leave residue.”It’s useless.doesn’t stick on the wood.doesn’t stick on the metal. Waste of money..please don’t buy.
